Built to open doors, not guard them.
Kekchi exists because the people building real businesses and real films are too often left out of how capital gets raised.
Twenty years of telling stories that find an audience.
Kekchi was founded by Ayokunle, a media entrepreneur with more than 20 years in broadcasting.
Broadcasting teaches one lesson over and over: a good story still has to reach the people who care about it. Kekchi applies that same discipline to capital, helping owners and producers present what they're building clearly, to the right people, in the right way.
How we work.
Separate by design
Every raise sits in its own vehicle, apart from your company and from every other deal.
Plain language
If a step can't be explained simply, it isn't ready. You'll always know what's happening and why.
Everything documented
Scope, price, terms and decisions are written down before they're acted on.
One group, focused companies.
Kekchi Group is the parent company. Each company in the group has its own role.
Kekchi Group
The parent company. Capital access for small businesses and independent producers.
Kekchi Partners
Working relationships with the managers and firms who operate alongside Kekchi.
Kekchi Pictures
Film and media projects developed and produced within the Kekchi family.
Who we work with.
Kekchi works with the people who raise capital and the people who provide it. We advise business owners and producers preparing to raise, and Kekchi Group or its affiliates may also manage investment vehicles and handle relations with their investors.
A project we advise may seek capital from a vehicle we manage. When that happens, our role on each side and any fees we receive are disclosed in writing to everyone involved before anyone commits.
Let's see if we're a fit.
One conversation is usually enough to know.
